St. Paul Lofts – 2333 W St. Paul (81 Units)

St. Paul Lofts

A major draw of St. Paul Lofts is its location in the sought-after neighborhood of Bucktown. It is only blocks from the popular Milwaukee, Damen and North Avenue intersection – the epicenter of dining, entertainment and retail for the Bucktown/Wicker Park area. The lofts are just far enough away from the action to avoid the crowds, but close enough to enjoy the nightlife, music shows, shopping, and restaurants down the street.

Close proximity to great local amenities isn’t all St. Paul Lofts offer. The four-story brick building is home to some very nicely designed loft residences. There are one- and two-bedroom units with floor plans of up to 1600 square feet. Exposed brick and ductwork, partial interior walls, and 12-foot ceiling heights give the properties that distinct loft feel. Kitchens overlook the living area with an island breakfast bar separating the two spaces. Units have either a private balcony or fenced-in patio, providing that much-desired outdoor oasis that big city dwellers crave.

Built in the timber loft style, the units have beautiful wood plank ceilings and massive timber beams. Hardwood floors and floor-to-ceiling windows are pretty standard throughout, as are in-unit laundry and living room fireplaces. Interior finishes at St. Paul Lofts are fresh and contemporary, with upgraded features in certain units. The bigger lofts are generally duplexes that boast master en suite baths and walk-in closets. Some unit owners have made improvements such as building up the bedroom walls to create more privacy (a perk not often available in loft properties).

St. Paul Lofts were renovated by Bejco Development in an area of Bucktown that exploded with residential conversions and new construction in recent years. Now, green grass and mature trees surround the site, which includes secured outdoor parking spots and indoor garage parking. The building is elevator equipped and has extra storage space for residents. Nearby public transportation options include the Blue Line L train at Western Avenue and the bus routes along Western and Milwaukee avenues.
